The Sultan of Kedah Al-Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin Sultan Badlishah today made his visit to the construction site of Hospital Pendang, a 9-hectare project located in Pendang district, south of Alor Setar. Also present were Tunku Laksamana Kedah, Dato’ Tunku Shazuddin Ariff Ibni Sultan Sallehuddin, Kedah Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Hj. Mukhriz Tun Dr Mahathir, Yang DiPertua Pendang District Council, Syed Khairol Anuar Syed Abidin and Group Chief Executive Officer of ORANGEBEAM Berhad, Dato’ Faris Yahaya.

Tuanku Sultan met with the Director of Kedah State Public Works Department, Tuan Hj. Ibrahim Bin Ahmad for the model presentation and briefing of Hospital Pendang. The construction is currently in progress, with the surrounding road and drainage and piling works in its way by industry-specialised contractor, ORANGEBEAM Construction Sdn Bhd, a partner company of Seri Libana Sdn Bhd.
